One of the largest Military Aircraft Museum!

Our July club’s outing is taking us to one of the most visited museums in SoCal: The March Field Air Museum in Riverside. With more than 30,000 individual artifacts and 150 historic aircraft ranging from WWI, WWII, the Korean and Vietnam wars,  to the latest conflicts, this is a visit you don’t want to miss! • 8:00 am to 8:45 am >> Meet at Patrick & Catherine’s house for coffee & donuts (see map below)
• 8:45 am to 9:00 am
>> Convoy to the Museum located 8 miles away
• 9:00 am to 10:00 am
>> Welcome to the Museum – car with aircraft photoshoot – Heritage Courtyard outdoor’s visit
• 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
>> Outdoor & indoor Museun visit
(for members who may have mobility problems, or are affected by excesive heat, an air  conditioning minibus is reserved for a comfortable and cool visit of the outdoor display)
• 12:00 pm to 12:15 pm >>

Lunch at Farmer Boy
• After Lunch >>
For those who desire, they could return to the museum to complete their visit.

• Guided outdoor & indoor visits to the museum is $12.00 per person and last between 1:30 to 2:00 hours, includes acces to the outdoor field.
• Guided visit of the outdoor field in an A/C bus is $8.00 per person for a 45 minutes tour (optional).

Take a memorial picture of our Olds by a historical airplane!

The museum now allows Car Club members to take pictures of their cars by their favorite aircraft. Choose any aircraft on display from their website, park your car next to it, and enjoy a memorable and incredible photoshoot opportunity! (optional of course)
• Individual picture is $25.00 per car/aircraft (optional of course)
* * this does not include print, nor the service of a photographer, just the access to the aircraft. You’ll be responsible for taking your own pictures.
If you decide to take a picture(s) by an aircraft. Browse & select the aircraft of your choice, write it down and the day of the photoshoot you will be directed to the aircraft for the photoshoot
