RIVERSIDE'S SHOW & GO IS A BIG EVENT TO NOT MISS.
May 4th 2024 - A small group of Olds attended the biggest event of inland empire
The Riverside Show & Go is one of those events you don’t want to miss. With about 1000 cars cruising the streets of downtown Riverside, the spectacle is at every corner. Hot rods, classic cars, muscle cars, imported cars, tractors, buses, and even moped bikes are gathering together for the biggest event in the Inland Empire.
As its name says, the event is a “Car Show” but also a very cool and fun “Cruising”. The city closed the streets of Riverside downtown for a parkour of several miles where participants are cruising in their vehicles, creating an incredible show. This year a small group of Olds members attended the event in a non-official Oldsmobile club’s reunion: Dan, Richard, David, Charles and I as well as Santiago, Lacey and her parents spend quality time together, checking the cars passing by, chatting and even enjoying a chicken wings BBQ, mastered by our “Chef” of the day Charles, who’s was questioned by a very interested Police Officer about his compact battery powered BBQ!
